Dear valued clients and friends:
When I began working at the Frankfort Animal Clinic eight years ago I had only been out of veterinary school for two years. I was still learning and building my strengths as a veterinarian. It was challenging and exciting to join a progressive practice like the Frankfort Animal Clinic that allowed me to develop my skills and become more experienced in my career.
First, I want to thank you for the honor and privilege it has been to serve you these past 8 years. I have nothing but fond memories of my time at the Frankfort Animal Clinic, and with a heavy heart I bid you farewell. I will be leaving mid-February to prepare to move to Maui, Hawaii. While I am excited for this new challenge in my life, I will truly miss the bonds that I have been fortunate to develop with my patients and clients and I will miss having the opportunity to work with you. I have built relationships in a way that I never knew possible, and for that I am grateful. My final day will be February 9.
It is hard to express the gratitude I have to Drs. Denis King, Myra King, and Stephanie Kennedy, as well as the entire staff of the Frankfort Animal Clinic, with whom I have had the honor of working side-by-side during the last eight years. You are an amazing group of individuals that work well together to form an exceptional team. I have the highest amount of respect for your skills and abilities and realize that I will be hard-pressed to find such a wonderful working environment again in my career. You have made me a better doctor and a better person. I can say wholeheartedly that I will miss the entire staff at the Frankfort Animal Clinic and I thank you all for the opportunity to be a part of this family
I know that the high standards of medical and surgical care, the compassion, and the integrity that brought me to the Frankfort Animal Clinic will continue in my absence. I will miss not being able to see you and care for your pets, but have complete confidence in the abilities of the doctors and staff taking over for me. A part of my heart will forever be at the Frankfort Animal Clinic. Please let me know if I can do anything for you before I leave. I would also be happy to answer any further questions.
Jill S. Mitchell, DVM
