Policy changes

Because of the recent outbreak of the very contagious Canine Influenza in the Frankfort and surrounding areas we have changed our requirements for our boarding and grooming services.

For the safety and health of our canine friends that will receive grooming/bathing or to stay in our boarding facility, they will be required to be current on the following vaccines:

Grooming: Rabies, Bordetella (Kennel Cough), and Canine Influenza

Boarding: Rabies, Bordetella, DHPP, and Canine Influenza

This means if you are planning any future use of these services you will need to get your pet up to date on all the previously listed vaccines.  The Canine Influenza vaccine requires an initial vaccine that must be boostered in 2 to 4 weeks and then annually thereafter.

We are informing our clients of this time frame so pets can be vaccinated with BOTH 1st and 2nd influenza vaccines BEFORE they will need to stay with us.
